I think taxing occasional match goers is a good way of ensuring that they contribute regularly to the club. But in return there does have to be a wider scheme which is more meaningful than a card which allows you to go to games. Whilst we’re talking about taxes, perhaps there should actually be a tax on anyone who participates in a phone-in. Really?
