I recently received a report from Diane Abbott MP regarding her latest activities and campaigns.

It was entitled CLP report winter-2008 so I guess it was sent to me as a local party member. I was really pleased to receive it and don’t remember anything like this in the past. I know lots of MPs keep their local party informed through the formal structures of the party, but few who provide a member-wide update.

The only criticism I’d make was that there wasn’t any information on the newsletter about how to contact Diane. This wasn’t a big problem because I could just go on to Google and find her through her website.

I’ve produced a word cloud so that you can see the most important issues she’s been working on. For those readers unfamiliar with a word cloud: you put some text into a system which generates a graphic showing the most frequently used words. The more frequently the word is used, the larger it appears.

Diane Abbott’s CLP report by key words

There was one surprising word that did not appear – so surprising, that I double-checked the provinence of the newsletter. Any guesses?
